St Paul’s College Clad Tilt Turn & Casement Window Refurb
St Paul’s College was constructed in the 1950’s. It is a large-scale red brick building based on 36 acres of land and acts as a Boys Secondary School. The school is built on the grounds of a former residence of the Guinness Family.
The Board of Management felt the existing single glazed timber windows and needed to be replaced. As a result fuel and maintenance costs were extremely high.
Signature Windows could supply Alu-clad timber windows with a high performance low e11 glazing and were awarded the contract. These windows would eliminate maintenance and cost issues, yet provide a window that aesthetically was very traditional and sympathetic to the age and style of the building. Using Casement and Polygon windows Signature achieved these objectives. The windows were factory finished with a white interior by Signature Windows dedicated Painting Division.
It was important to provide a turnkey service right through from design to installation due to the limited time line involved in this project. Signature Windows had successfully completed similar projects within the school holiday period and it was paramount that we could deliver this service to St. Paul’s. All existing windows were removed and recycled. 169 windows were installed within the time frame provided again proving that Signature Windows have the capability to ensure that such projects are completed in the correct time line.
